For each source, create an APA reference and annotation using the instructions provided.
List your 5 references and annotations in a single document in alphabetical order according to the last name of the author (or the title of the organization).
Save your file using Word, Pages, or a similar program.

How to Prepare an Annotated Bibliography
An annotated bibliography is a list of sources such as books, articles, and web sites used for researching a topic. Each citation is followed by an annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. A bibliography is also known by other terms such as References or Works Cited.
Writing an Annotation
Begin with the citation (using APA style for this course). The annotation should be 200-350 words in length. Your annotation should answer the following questions in your own words:
Who wrote the article? Search for them using Google. Where are they? What do they do? What is their job title? What else can you say about them? (1-2 sentences)
What are the main arguments? What were the methods (for example, interviews, surveys, observation, brain scans)? What is the point of this article? If someone asked what this article is about, what would you say? (2-5 sentences)
Is this source biased or objective? What is the goal of this source? (1-2 sentences)
Is it a useful source? How does it compare with other sources youve read or heard about in the news? Is the information reliable? (1-2 sentences)
