Branches of Government

The three branches of our government each play crucial roles in the U.S. national government. Each branch has specific power, duties, and responsibilities that are the most apparent features of our system of separate powers. Nevertheless, each branch has been critiqued for having definite strengths and weaknesses that become obvious in certain situations. Analyzing these strengths and weaknesses will enable you to evaluate and recommend ways to enhance and correct these fundamental assets and deficiencies of the branches of our national government.

Develop a detailed outline of your third main point using the Week Three Learning Activity Worksheet.

1. Branches of Government:
   1. Provide a paragraph that briefly describes one strength and one weakness of one branch of our government: executive, legislative, or judiciary.
   2. Provide a paragraph that recommends one option to maintain the strength and one to correct the weakness.

1. Chapter 5 of Mastering Strategic Management, four generic strategies are outlined!  Research a company that exercises one of the four strategies. Explain how the organization operationalizes the strategy. Attach the article (ensure the link works) as part of the reference.

1. Describe limitations and advantages of either the Boston Consulting Matrix or Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix!

Discuss how a bill becomes a law in the federal government.  

Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper analyzing theories and approaches of policy implementation. Address the following in your paper:

• Describe at least three major policy implementation approaches and the theorists associated with these approaches.
• Identify the most effective approach and explain why it is the most effective.
