Topic: Marketing Report

1. Please read the guideline carefully, it is very long.
2. If you need to make up numbers or statistics of a company, choose an appropriate one. That means, put yourself in a student\’s position, you don\’t want the professor to easily contact the company to check authenticity of your research.
3. The paper requires 5 pages including diagrams/charts, the actual writing part is about 3 pages single space.

Discuss in detail at least three missing internal controls, the reasons why these controls are important, and a remedy in the case of X Company and Ms. Smith.

On a warm summer day in early July 2011, Ms. Smith of the executive team of X Company sat in her office preparing a request form for routine travel expense reimbursement. She attached documentation in support of the cost of the air travel portion of her planned trip, which she had booked recently and reserved using her personal credit card. The organization where Ms. Smith worked did not have a corporate travel account.

After signing the form, Ms. Smith walked to the office of the chief financial officer (CFO) to ask for his approval of the requested reimbursement. The CFO, who knew Ms. Smith well and had worked with her at a previous company, engaged in social conversation. He quickly glanced at the documents, not bothering to inspect them or review the total cost of the trip, since he trusted in Ms. Smith\’s credibility. The CFO initialed the form and gave it back to Ms. Smith, who then went to see Alex, the Accounts Payable clerk with whom she had also worked at the prior company. She wanted Alex to immediately process her travel expense reimbursement request and approve a wire transfer of $6,250 into her personal bank account. Alex was only too happy to assist her with what he must have considered a routine task. He was busy with other tasks and did not take the opportunity to review the details connected with the travel expense reimbursement request. Alex immediately initiated the wire transfer, filed the documents into Ms. Smith\’s folder for her trip, and then moved on to the rest of his busy day. Upon returning from her trip, Ms. Smith did not file a reconciling expense form with attached receipts of her trip.

Required: Discuss in detail at least three missing internal controls, the reasons why these controls are important, and a remedy in the case of X Company and Ms. Smith.

Topic: Critical Evaluation

Task 3 – Assignment 3 Weight Due date Linked unit outcomes Linked graduate capabilities
Critical evaluation of whether or not the program identified in Assignment 2 can/should be introduced into the Australian jurisdiction identified in Assignment 1.
Word Limit: 2000 words 40% 1,2,3,4,5,6 1,2,3,4,5,6
Assignment 3

40% Critical Evaluation

Provide a critical analysis of the prospects for success or failure regarding the transfer of your preferred program to your Australian jurisdiction.

Now that you have (a) identified a specific policy/program in an Australian jurisdiction (Assignment 1) and (b) chosen a particular program from a different jurisdiction because it seems to be a promising candidate for borrowing (Assignment 2), the final assignment considers the feasibility of actually borrowing the program and having it ‘work’.

This assignment requires you to critically examine the ‘receiving’ political arena in Australia. You should address, at a minimum:

1. A statement of the benefits which will accrue if the borrowed program can be transferred successfully into the relevant Australian jurisdiction.

2. A critical analysis of the major differences between the ‘exporting’ jurisdiction – i.e. the jurisdiction from which the program will be borrowed – and the Australian jurisdiction into which the program will be transferred.

3. A critical analysis of the Australian political and institutional context in which the ‘borrowed’ program will be applied. Consideration of the feasibility of overcoming possible difficulties which might arise from these differences should be included.

4. A critical analysis of the ways in which the program needs to be ‘tied into’ or ‘hooked up’ to the existing institutional arrangements in the Australian jurisdiction.

5. A critical analysis of the politics of transferring the program: which individuals and groups might support it and which might oppose it and why? what are costs, and upon whom are these likely to fall?

6. Your recommendation whether the relevant jurisdiction should proceed with the program transfer and reasons for your recommendation.

Note: You should consider the option of recommending that there should not be a transfer as well as the option of recommending that there should be a transfer.

IMPORTANT: The 3 assessment tasks articulate with one other. Please consider the requirements of Assignments 2 and 3 when you are working through the requirements for Assignment 1. You will need to choose your research area (Assignment 1) wisely to ensure enough comparative material exists in other jurisdictions to enable you to complete Assignments 2 and 3. If you are in any doubt about choosing your research area, please consult the Unit Convenor.

Now please focus for Assignment 3 (Critical Evaluation )

Critical evaluation of whether or not the program identified in Assignment 2 can/should be introduced into the Australian jurisdiction identified in Assignment 1.

Topic: Tabletop Exercise (TTX)

Dear Writer,
Please remember that if you are not familiar and expert in these courses and field, then it doesn’t make sense to work I this order!
I’m an international student who studies the program of Disaster Medicine and Management and this semester is the last one for me before graduation in August and one of the courses of this semester is the Exercises and Drills class and its description is as follows:
This course will prepare students to develop and implement effective emergency disaster drills and tabletop exercises. It will also encompass the principles of mass casualty triage. The principles of adult learning and educational assessment are also covered.
This course includes an intensive on-campus experience. Offered in Summer only.
*Prerequisite: DMM611
*Prerequisite to on-campus week – IS 300
– There will be a unique and hard week, Wk 9, which is On-Campus week to with tens of exercises and activities to apply what we have learned (we are now in Wk 2).
NOW, please find the first attachment entitled “Announcements” to see that the staff divided us into three groups AND I’M IN GROUP 2 who will do the tabletop exercise (TTX), please see this attachment and check the scenario they sent for me and my group (group 2) about TTX tabletop exercise and do what is required for group 2, please but as the scenario mentions: Think in terms of an Incident Management Team, because group 1 will Think in terms of an EOC.

Note 2: Pleas in addition to respond to what is required from my group (group 2), tell me also what I should do exactly if there is a seminar to discuss what we have to do for our tabletop exercise because as an international student, this is very difficult for me, in addition to the difficulty of the language itself as an international student, SO PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS LAST STEP BEFORE GRDAUATION.
Note 3: please start with reading the first attachment entitled “Announcement” to get the big picture and remember that I’m in group 2 and remember that this a group work but I do need to send me a full response to build up a tabletop exercise and I will use it during on-campus week to help me discuss some of the ideas you will send with my group.
Note 4: Another thing to do please is to send me in forms for points with little explanation of each about the ideas that I can discuss with my group when we try to build up a tabletop exercise and how I start with them and the possible ideas I can share with them.
Note 5: the following is mentioned in the first attachment with this order entitled “Announcement”:
• Each group should state in advance the objectives and core capabilities for its exercise.
Each TTX should include standard HSEEP documents – MESL, situation manual, EEG etc. Depending on group size, it is often helpful to assign one such task to a specific group member.
You will find it helpful if you break your TTX into immediate, continued and recovery modules. Doing so helps focus both the exercise facilitator and the players.
SO, PLEASE CHECK HSEEP document and other documents that you should be familiar with and send me the objectives that we should start with.

Note 8: They mention to be creative, so please consider this point.
Note 9: Contact me right away for any question or clarification.

Waiting for you.
Best regards!

Topic: infographic

The purpose of the info graphic assignment is to compile your feasibility report’s process, research, and data to enable a broader audience to understand and retain the information.
Your Task
Students will compile the feasibility report findings into an infographic. Infographics convey information in a succinct way to increase understanding and retention. Students will determine the most important findings and carefully select an effective design format. Instead of assuming a role, the audience is your classmates. Unlike the board of director or senior management audience for the report, this audience is less familiar with the product, service, strategy, initiative, program, process, or change.

Using computer-assisted technology (I would recommend the free infographic site on the web – Infogr.am – though an infographic could be made in PowerPoint), prepare one infographic. This infographic should not merely \”dump\” all that you have learned about your leader into a graphic form, but instead should present high-level conclusions and recommendations based on your research.

Preparation

Students will read and use the following chapters in the BCom text (in addition to those previously covered):

•Ch. 10 – Managing Data and Using Graphics

Before you create the infographic:
1.Perform a web search for infographic images to understand how data has been amassed to reveal high-level conclusions.

2.Review the following articles:

The Do’s And Don’ts Of Infographic Design
Amy Balliett

The Do’s And Don’ts Of Infographic Design: Revisited
Nathan Yau

10 Steps To Designing An Amazing Infographic
Josh Smith
3.Log into Infogr.am and get a feel for the ways this program presents the data.

4.Review the feasibility report for the most critical information that lead to your recommendation.

5.Select the best template – and then the best format within the template.

6.Prepare your data in the infographic format.

TIPS
•The free site Infogr.am requires you to log in and create an account.
•In the account creation process, you are required to provide a user name and an email address. •You will be the only one with access to the account.
•At the end of the infographic creation process – regardless of the platform you choose – you will download the finished product image file, and upload the graphic to the designated assignment area for grading.

•Your Professor can only grade assignments uploaded to Moodle. Submit the Infogr.am URL in the assignment \”comments\” section. (There is a very brief tutorial in Week Six titled \”Submitting the Infographic and References- \’How to\’\”)
•In addition to the completed infographic, you will upload the APA reference list. Submit your Reference page as an attached document.

Criteria for Evaluation

Assignments will be assessed with the Written Deliverables rubric with attention to these areas:
•The infographic will feature at least two elements – one must be a chart (line chart, bar chart, pie chart) – make sure you adhere to proper format for charts (title, source, etc.) See \”Reminders About Graphics\” PowerPoint. The other element might be a picture, a video, a quote, etc.
•Responsive to the audience’s subject knowledge, attitudes, interests, and values as well as the purpose and occasion.
•Employs format specifications detailed in the “Your Task” section of this assignment description.
•Uses graphic elements to make data and comparisons easier to understand and retain.
•Incorporates effective language for the audience, purpose, and situation.
•Reflects professional communication standards including tone, research, APA documentation in-text and in a reference page (two sources required), grammar, and overall writing standards.

Remember for submitting this assignment:
Submit the Infogr.am URL in the assignment \”comments\” section.
In addition to the completed infographic, you will upload the APA reference list. Submit your Reference page as an attached document.
