Topic: Campaign Analysis

Order Description

*Using critical and argumentative analysis skills, write a structured essay assessing the effectiveness of a specific propaganda or activist campaign. My chose campaign is the Free Tibet campaign, specifically focus on the uprising in 2008 Beijing Olympic. I have attached an article (The Beijing Olympics and the campaign for a free Tibet) that discuss about this issue. We define a campaign as an organised attempt to influence public opinion, for a particular purpose, using the media. Please read the article “Propaganda-analysis-a-case-study” in the file attached. This is a very close essay samples that I want my essay to be like, so read this article and try to follow how they analyse a campaign.

*Each Campaign Analysis will need to be supported by rigorous academic research and referencing, please use at least 10 academic references, and include at least 2 readings from the files that I attached).

*You might use this assignment to reflect on some of the following topics: media and power; the role
of the public sphere in a liberal or authoritarian society; the relationship between broadcast and
participatory media; democracy; the political economy of the media; transparency; protest. (please remember this, very important to reflect some of the topics here)

*The structure of the essay must be like this, and please address all the questions here:

1. Introduction: Why is this important, how is it relevant to the unit, what do you hope to achieve?
(Unit learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the role and importance of communication technology in shaping, and being shaped by, society and culture
=> you should know what roles different kinds of media plays in relation to power in society: does media support powerful interests, or challenge them?
2. Demonstrate knowledge of key communication theories;
=> you should be able to distinguish between critical and liberal approaches
3. Demonstrate basic knowledge of the main technological evolutions in communication and media history;
=> you should be able to distinguish between broadcast and network/participatory media
4. Demonstrate a preliminary understanding of how communication has been analysed within particular traditions that over time have become increasingly exposed to globalisation
=> you should understand how local media reacts and interacts with global issues
5. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of communication in modern history.
=> you should understand that there are different kinds of societies in the world (totalitarian, authoritarian and pluralist); that these societies can change over time; and that the way tbe media operates as a ‘public sphere’ as ‘propaganda’, etc., is different according to the society and the historical period. For example, the media operated as a propaganda tool of the government in China during the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) and in the United States in the lead-up to the Invasion of Iraq (2001-2003), but these are very different societies, historical periods, and forms of
propaganda.)

2. Literature review: Who else has discussed this campaign, or similar ones? What did they say, did they leave anything out? (you can refer to the article “The Beijing Olympics and the campaign for a free Tibet” in the file attached)

3. Findings: What documents and methodology did you use for your analysis? What kind of campaign
was it, in what kind of society? What were the aims of the propaganda or activist campaign? Who
was involved, using what techniques? Who was targeted, using which platforms? Was there bias or
misinformation? Remember to justify your assertions.

4. Discussion: What were the campaign context, stages, methods, effects, reception, and critiques?
How effective was it? Was the propaganda or activist campaign successful? Why or why not?

5. Conclusion: How does this relate to wider issues discussed in the unit?

6. References: At least 10 (including two from the unit reading list; do not cite lectures or encyclopedias)

6. Appendix: Include at least three documents (extracts from articles, images, screenshots etc) which
form the basis for your analysis.

To prepare: Select a health topic of interest to you that is relevant to your current area of practice. The topic may be your Course Portfolio Project or a different topic of your choice. Using the Walden Library, locate two articles in scholarly journals that deal with your portfolio topic: 1) Select one article that utilizes a quantitative research design and 2) select a second article that utilizes either a qualitative OR a mixed methods design. These need to be single studies not systematic or integrative reviews (including meta-analysis and metasynthesis). You may use research articles from your reference list. If you cannot find these two types of research on your portfolio topic, you may choose another topic. Locate the following documents in this week’s Learning Resources to access the appropriate templates, which will guide your critique of each article: Critique Template for a Qualitative Study Critique Template for a Quantitative Study Critique Template for a Mixed-Methods Study Consider the fields in the templates as you review the information in each article. Begin to draft a paper in which you analyze the two research approaches as indicated below. Reflect on the overall value of both quantitative and qualitative research. If someone were to say to you, “Qualitative research is not real science,” how would you respond? To complete this Assignment: Complete the two critiques using the appropriate templates. Write a 2- to 3-page paper that addresses the following: Contrast the types of information that you gained from examining the two different research approaches in the articles that you selected. Describe the general advantages and disadvantages of the two research approaches featured in the articles. Use examples from the articles for support. Formulate a response to the claim that qualitative research is not real science. Highlight the general insights that both quantitative and qualitative studies can provide to researchers. Support your response with references to the Learning Resources and other credible sources. As you complete this Assignment, remember to: Submit your paper to Grammarly and Turnitin through the Walden Writing Center. Based on the Grammarly and Turnitin reports, revise your paper as necessary. Reminder: The School of Nursing requires that all papers submitted include a title page, introduction, summary, and references. The School of Nursing Sample Paper provided at the Walden Writing Center provides an example of those required elements (available from the Walden University website found in this week’s Learning Resources). All papers submitted must use this formatting. Combine all three parts of this assignment into one Word document including both critique templates and the narrative with your references. Submit this combined document.

Topic: 7. How far is the role of the Human Terrain Teams a political matter?

Order Description

Hello,

I am coming to you again for another essay. You have previously written an essay for me and it was absolutely fantastic. I would like to have the same sesults again.

I would like an essay of between 3850 and 4,000 words answering this topic:
How far is the role of the Human Terrain Teams a political matter? The HTT was a controversial program that gained disapproval from many groups including anthropologists, military officials, and others. How might the actions of Human Terrain Teams, their purpose, and ultimate goal affect political actions in the U.S.? What are the political reasoning for why the Human Terrain Teams were ineffective/why the program ultimately ended. Explain how HTT involvement in countries in the Middle East such as Iraq and Afghanistan turn the HTT into a political issue. If there is not a significant role of HTT being a major political matter., explain to what extent if any there may be some/a little connection to political influence. Basically, the aim of this essay is to explain how the utilization of Human Terrain Team can be viewed (or not) as a political issue/matter. Here is a learning outcome highlighted in the description section for this essay: “To show how changing political and military conditions ‘on the ground’ have social and ideological influence far beyond their immediate regional manifestation”. Please let me know if the topic is still unclear. Thank you again.

I will be uploading a current essay that I have that is not a passable paper. Here are some of the errors with it:

The essay is very repetitive and did not answer the question: to what extent are the Human Terrain Teams (not HTS) a political matter. This was barely touched on.

There needs to be more structure in the essay. There needs to be clear case studies which there are not. There needs to be more explanations as to why the program failed, meaning talk about the issues between the HTTs and the public and the failures the HTTS had in interacting with the populations in Iraq and afghanistan.

The conclusion does not provide a clear synthesis of the question at hand. In fact, the paper doesn’t seem to answer the core question at all.

I need for this essay to be of master’s level and above writing. Please write an essay to reflect the requests. Thank you.

Topic: Philosophy of psychology 1st paper

Order Description

Write a paper that responds to one of the three following prompts. The paper is to be a maximum of 5 double-spaced pages, and no shorter than 4 full pages. Use 12 point type, Times New Roman, normal margins. Word limit: 1400 words. Papers longer than that (in either pages or words) will not be accepted. Citations in footnotes will not count against the word limit. There is to be no prose, other than citations, in footnotes: no discussion of issues there.
All sentences are to be 16 words or less. The sentences must remain sentences–grammatical sentences after you cut words. The point is to use this restriction to help you keep your writing clear and simple. If any sentence is longer than 16 words, points will be deducted from your grade. TAs have the option of refusing to accept a paper until all sentences meet the word limit.
Work on your sentences. Maximize active, rather than passive, verbs. Maximize transitive, rather than intransitive, verbs. (Transitive verbs have a direct object, as in ‘May hit the ball’. Intransitive verbs lack a direct object, as in ‘Mary is a hitter’).
Submit your paper through Turn-it-in. Submit both an electronic copy and a paper copy. Do not crib words from articles or books that you read. Use your own words. Cite your sources; quote them if necessary. Mostly use your own words. Explanations should be independent enough from your sources to show that you understand. Try to write like a scientist as far as possible.
(1) Explain what perceptual anti-individualism is. Use the book’s index to find my explication, but use your own words. Explain how anti-individualism provides a framework for perceptual psychology and why it is plausible that perceptual psychology presupposes anti-individualism in the nature and contents of its transformation laws. Illustrate this latter point through one concrete example of explanation. You need not give an explanation in detail. It is enough to explain the main point of some transformation(s). You can use any of the four explanations in the book–Origins, pp. 347-366.
(2) Describe the aspect of luminance constancy that involves distinguishing surface luminance from illumination. Luminance is a relatively constant property of the surface. Illumination is a varying property of the amount of light or shadow on the surface. See Origins, pp. 351-354. You need not go into great detail. It is enough to explain the main principle that enables the system to make the distinction. Describe transition from registration of stimulation to perception of a surface as a degree of luminance. Explain the preceding italicized notions. Explain how differences between shadows/illumination and reflectance are not distinguished in the registration of proximal stimulation. Explain why this distinguishing operation contributes to having a perceptual constancy–see Origins 388.
(3) Use examples to explain the difference between mere sensory registration and perceptual representation. One can always use representational talk to describe any system or organism. Why should we think that some systems represent while others do not? What is a perceptual constancy? Explain using examples. Perceptual constancies mark genuine perceptual representation, rather than mere sensory registration. Elaborate. Use both the book and the lectures to help frame your paper. Key terms, as always, can be found in the index.

BOTH sections must be completed. The total maximum word count for this course work is 2,500 words + copy of an outline model structure.
You have been provided with a suggested template which you can use to complete Section A and B.

A short scenario has been given to enable you to complete the course work (i will uploed it)

Section A:
Produce a maximum 1,250 word report detailing a critical health economics appraisal of the Nguyen and Bernstein paper (i will be uploaded) using an appropriate critical appraisal tool/framework.
This should include:
• A succinct critical appraisal of the paper including strengths and limitations.
• The gaps in this analysis which could be addressed by adapting or undertaking a new health economic analysis using a decision analytical model.

Section B:
Produce a maximum 1,250 word modelling plan for your proposed health economic analysis to fill the gaps in the analysis and address the decision problem. Provide a fully labelled outline of your proposed model structure Consider the following, along with other relevant features, in your modelling plan The aim of the analysis
• Patient population and any sub-groups to be considered in the analysis.
• Intervention(s) and comparator

Topic: Describing a Research Problem

Order Description

Describing a Research Problem

Review the Theories and Assumptions activity (link in Resources area) in preparation for this assignment. You will use the approved article you selected in Unit 2 to complete this assignment.
.

In this assessment you will demonstrate your ability to draw a direct link between what is known in the scholarly literature and the gaps in the literature and the development of your own research problem. To simulate how you will do this in your dissertation process, you will use the Research Plan/Scientific Merit Review Form to record your thinking process.

Complete the following for this assignment:
1.Describe the Scientific Problem. In one paragraph, describe the scientific problem. This paragraph goes beyond the social problem to express the scientific problem. Think about it in these terms: We know X from the literature, we also know Y, but we do not know Z, and that is why this study’s research question is important. You will record this paragraph in section 2.1 on the Research Plan/Scientific Merit Review Form.
2.Describe how this research will advance scientific knowledge in your specialization area. Answer the three questions in section 2.2 of the Research Plan/Scientific Merit Review Form using bullet points and in-text citations. 1.How is this study new or different from other studies? Does the study address something that is not known or has not been studied before?
2.So what? How did the findings impact that field of interest?
3.Who cares? What possible practical implications do the authors predict the results of their research will have? For instance, what will be the impact of these results on the sample, the site location, or the workplace?

3.Compose your research question(s). Compose two different research questions reflecting two different theories based on your topic. Like the examples found in the Theories and Assumptions activity, these two new questions should change to reflect the two new theories. For example, when using a different theory, should the author have measured a different variable? Remember, a theory helps the researcher predict what they expect to find. Record your questions in section 2.5 of the Research Plan/Scientific Merit Review Form.

For example, for the topic of why women stay with abusive men, applying a theory of Social Modeling means that you would predict those women who saw their father abuse their mother and the mother stayed in the abusive relationship, are more likely to model that behavior in their own relations with their spouse or partner.
•Research Question Example: For women who have experienced an abusive relationship, is there a correlation between the amount of time they stayed in an abusive relationship and amount of time of their mother stayed in an abusive relationship?

For the same topic, if you apply Coping Theory, you would predict that women who stay with abusive men are more likely to use cognitive reframing to enhance the positive aspects of the relationship with the spouse or partner.
•Research Question Example: For women who have experienced an abusive relationship, is there a correlation between the amount of time they stayed in an abusive relationship and their score on the cognitive reframing scale?

Note: All assignments are expected to follow APA guidelines for style and formatting, and to include appropriate citations. Refer to the Resources for more information about APA guidelines.

Topic: Social stratification

Order Description

SOC101: Monopoly Paper
ASA Style
The Monopoly games that were played in class, are a way for you to see how life chances are shaped by social stratification policies. The scenarios and rules influence the life chances that the games’ families experience. You are expected to use the information from both your textbook and class lectures to discuss and explain the outcomes of the games. How does the American social stratification system, influence the life chances of the family you played in each game?
The substance of your papers is a discussion about life chances and social stratification based on your experiences in the games. Sociological theories explain why societies develop policies that structure excess wealth the way they do. In your paper, you need to discuss the elements of social stratification (wealth, prestige, and power).
Your paper should be approximately 5 pages in length.
The first page should be an overview of social stratification in the United States (what is social stratification, what are the major dimensions of how are wealth, prestige, and power divided in the U.S., and how do these divisions influence the life changes of people in these groups?)
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pages should be discussions about each of the Monopoly games played- page 2- game 1; page 3- game2, and page 4- game 3. Don’t forget to discuss the special rules that your team created, and how this might have influenced the outcome of the games.
Write a conclusion for the 5th page, incorporating both the overview of social stratification, a broader discussion of how social stratification influences life chances, and patterns that you observed in playing the Monopoly games.
You need to include the charts for all 3 games in your paper. Toward the end of your paper, if you would like to comment on the fairness or unfairness of outcomes from the games, you may do so. If you think the scenarios and rules are realistic or unrealistic, this is the appropriate place to comment. Because I devote so much class time to this assignment, I’d also like to know if you think it is a worthwhile exercise.

Topic: International Environment Analysis

Order Description

In this Session Long Project, you would develop an international marketing plan for a business of your choice. You could identify an existing business and expand this business to one foreign country, or you may identify a domestic business without foreign presence. If you want to focus on a multinational corporation, you should identify a foreign country that the company has not entered. There are four parts of this Session Long Project and check the outline for international marketing plan here for the details.

First part (SLP1): Identify the business and conduct market audit and competitive analysis;

For SLP1, you start the project with the following information:

Section I: Company Background and Product Statement

Identify the business for your project and provide background on the company
Identify a product or brand from this company and provide information on this product/brand such as consumer awareness of the product/brand, the product/brand image, the stage of product/brand in terms of product life cycle (introduction stage or growth stage or other stage?), any problems or issues related to the product/brand, so on.

Section II: Market Audit and Competitive Analysis

Give detailed analysis of the market for this product/brand based on the following guideline.

A. Describe the target market(s) in which the product is to be sold such as demographic information of the target market(s), the geographic region(s), the consumer buying behavior in each region, product distribution channels (the specific retail stores or intermediaries or online), advertising media used to reach the target market(s), sales promotions used (sampling, coupons, online offers, etc.) and the pricing strategy for this product/brand (price ranges in each region, markups, discounts, etc.)

B. Conduct competitive analysis: identify two or three major competitors and state the specifics of the competing products/brands from each competitor including the brand name(s), the key features of the product(s), the packages, the logos and trademarks; the distribution channels for each competing product/brand; the advertising and sales promotions used for each competing product/brand; the prices for the competing products/brands including the markups and discounts used by competitors; relative competitive advantages or disadvantages of your product/brand relative to each competing product/brand.

C. Evaluate market size including estimated industry sales for the planning year and estimated sales for your company for the planning year

D. Identify regulations you must follow and the government agencies that may help you.

Order Description

TOOLKIT FORPUBLIC MANAGEMENT This assignment requires students take one of three case studies covered in the classes on 9 and 16 May: –Central agency reform in PNG –Melbourne’s 2.00 am lockout –Instigating and sustaining radical change in the Dutch intelligence service Students are required to •assess their chosen case on the basis of the management style used and the contribution (or lack of it) that the manager made to adding public value •apply Moore’s theories of “Creating Public Value”. Each of the three cases comes with a series of questions from me to help guide students in the application of Moore’s theories. These questions are set out in the Course Outline available on FLO. They will also be displayed in the slides for the class on 13 May which has been posted on FLO. Maximum length for an assignment done is 3,500 words. The following questions are provided to assist students with assessment 2 Central agency reform in Papua New Guinea • What are the issues? How would you frame them? • What are the mandates? Are they sufficient to get the job done? • How might they be developed further? What could Moore’s “alternative approach” do to help this further development? • Develop policy options and an implementation plan using the Kennedy School Strategic Triangle • Does the plan meet the three tests? • What is the public value added by your options? • Are the costs, particularly the use of political authority, acceptable for the value created? Melbourne 2 am lockout • What are the issues? How would you frame them? • What are the mandates? • Is there sufficient justification for intervening? • What process would you have used to develop and implement the policy options? • Using Moore’s “alternative approach”, how would you have developed the mandates further? • If you had to implement the preferred option of a 2 am lockout, what strategies and tactics would you have employed? • What is the public value you are looking to deliver? • What would you do to contain costs, particularly the costs of using political authority? Dutch intelligence service • What were the original mandates and what did they become as Doctors developed them? • Assess his development of the mandates. Did they address the problem? • Assess Docters’s style in terms of Moore’s distinction between the “traditional manager” and the “alternative approach” • What was his implementation plan? What were its successes and failures? • Using Moore’s theories of diagnosis and tactics, how might things have been done differently to overcome the problems he encountered and identify what tactics he might have used to get a better outcome. note: academic references only with Harvard style. All the references that you will use include it in the paper
