5 Short management questions

I need you to answer 5 questions. they are not hard at all! each question may have more than one step so please answer these sepertally——–I WILL NEED IT IN 3 HOURS PLEASE. IF YOU CAN”T DO IT PLEASE DON’T SHAKE HANDS.——-Take the time to carefully review all the videos on this week’s topic of Organization Structure & Design – they are all between 2 – 7 minutes.1. Describe at least 3 specific things that you learned about Organization Structure, Design or Processes.2. If you have worked in an organization before, whether as a volunteer, paid employee, manager or intern, can you describe what organization structure it followed based on the videos and your textbook reading for this week?  If you haven’t been employed, volunteered or interned in an organization, then describe what you think the Organizational Structure of CSUN is like, OR you can choose to describe the Organizational Structure of your college at CSUN (Business, Education, HHS, etc).. QUESTION #2On page 453 of your textbook, please carefully read Case 11, “Nike – Spreading Out to Win the Race.”1. How would you describe Nike’s current organizational structure?2. If you were a consultant called in to help Nike with redesigning its structure to be more effective capturing more market share and avoid some of the bad press Nike has received regarding outsourced labor practices, what recommendations would you have that would add value to the redesign of its structure – it’s ok to make just small changes or big ones, whatever you think would add value. QUESTION #3On page 441-442, in your textbook, please carefully read Case 2, “Zara International – Fashion at the Speed of Light.” 1. Based on this case and your textbook readings in the chapter, what organizational structure do you think best describes Zara currently – please describe what elements of Zara fit the organizational structure you chose.2. As Zara focuses on increased online marketing and sales in the United States, do you see a need for Zara to change its current organizational structure, Why or Why Not? QIESTION #4On page 279 of your textbook, CH 12, please read section “Hidden Agendas in Organizational Change.” Organizations typically spend millions of dollars to make organizational changes happen, and it rarely goes according to plan – there are so many unknown variables that go into making an organizational change effective.  Frequently, the use of hidden agendas occurs when managers and others see the organization change a certain way, which might be in their best interest, but not the best interest of the overall organization. Sometimes in Organizational changes, one department like Marketing might get more funding, more staff hired, while Operations might lose funding and have to cut staff – you can see where each Department Manager might have his or her own agenda about the change.1. If your manager asked you to influence and persuade others to go along with your manager’s agenda/ideas for change, and you agreed with some parts of your manager’s ideas, but not all of them, what would you do and Why? (Consider – would you go along with your manager whether you agreed or not, would you try to influence your manager to see that his or her ideas didn’t agree with your own ideas, would you refuse to speak on behalf your manager’s agenda, would you act openly as if you agreed with your manager, and then privately discuss your concerns with others, etc) QUESTION #5On page 287-288, CH 12, of your textbook, please complete and score the self-assessment “Change Leadership IQ.”  Being able to effectively manage and lead a change process with a strong tolerance of ambiguity (see pg. 282 for tolerance of ambiguity), is essential for today’s managers and leaders to be successful in their organizations,1. How would you assess yourself in your ability to handle changes if you were managing/leading others?2. If there are areas in which you’d like to improve in your ability to handle change in your own life or even when working with others, what could you begin to differently to handle change more effectively?  (Change happens all the time whether we like it or not) I will uploud the pages here ——————EACH question should AT LEAST have a 3 lines answer and that’s it!——————– PLEASE I NEED IT IN THE NEXT 3 HOURS

i need 100% orinigal. not copy Deliverable Length: Throughout this course, you will work on several aspects of network design and configuration that will result in a complete network design and configuration document for the scenario that is described below. You will not configure a real network, but you will work extensively with the concepts of good network design and configuration practices. Additional information and the deliverables for each Individual Project will be provided in the assignment description for the project. For this course, your projects will be for a company named RL Medical Imaging (RLMI). This company provides imaging services (MRIs, CAT scans, etc.) for physicians in the greater New York metropolitan area. The company has 50 clients with an average of 10 patients per week, per client, and it expects to grow at a rapid pace during the next 5 years. The company’s clients schedule imaging for their patients. Patient information is currently delivered to RLMI as paper documents. Imaging is performed, and the results are recorded (again on paper) and sent back to the client. The goal for RLMI is to transform its current paper system to a computerized system and create a network with appropriate servers and workstations to support the required software and staff. In addition, RLMI would like to provide scheduling and results services via the Web to its clients. The company has 20 staff members (10 imaging technicians, 3 doctors, 1 sales and customer service representative, and 6 clerical staffers). The average results package (data and images) is 50 MB in size. The company must protect patient data because of federal patient-privacy laws, so security measures are important. In addition, the patient records are valuable, and the imaging is expensive, so it is important that a solid data backup process is in place. For the assignments in this course, you will not implement the actual network, but you will develop a comprehensive network design and configuration document. Your first task for the project is to create the shell document for the final project deliverable that you will work on for each unit. As you proceed through each project phase, you will add content to each section of the final document to gradually complete the final project.Your first version of the network design and configuration document will also include a suitable network design. Review the project background, develop a design for a network that will meet the needs of the organization, and follow the guidelines under the Network Design section of the document outline for specific deliverables. Assumptions may be made where necessary, but they should be stated in the document. The project deliverables include the following: Adhere to APA formatting and reference guidelines when writing your response. Additionally, your response should be free of grammatical errors, use complete sentences, and give specific details to support statements.

Ancient Greek Olympics – Art History

Each student curator is required to produce a formal research paper for their particular “room.” This is much like a museum catalog paper or chapter providing a specific research argument about the exhibition to add to a catalogue (I suggest that you look at a recent museum exhibition catalogue for writing samples).  These individual research papers must form specific arguments connecting the choice of artworks to the theme utilizing academic research to support all arguments made. The research paper also stands alone from the exhibition allowing the exhibition to emphasize the points developed in the paper but without direct reference between the two elements.                                  The paper should begin with an introduction to the theme being considered and rationale for selecting works. A strong thesis statement will lead the paper into discussing works of art, analyzing them in connection with the theme that you have chosen comparing, contrasting, and supporting your argument. The paper must then include a conclusion and must have proper citations throughout in MLA format. The paper should be between 5-7 pages. This paper may be incorporated into the exhibition, but you must consider the method of delivery as 5-7 pages of text is unlikely to be read by the average museum-goer. If you wish to combine this with your museum project, consider cutting out bits of useful information to display with the works that you have chosen.  —————————————————————————————————————————————– Ok, so our group chose Ancient Greek Olympics as our topic. We have a thesis, somewhat, which you can use or you can use one of your own. Ours is this — “”””Since 1896, the year the Olympics were resurrected from ancient history, the Olympics have been a symbol of the camaraderie and harmony possible on a global scale. The competition of the nations in these events represents the age old competitive spirit of man. The need for people to take pride in something larger than themselves and feel as if they are part of a greater good. Olympic Games were held throughout Ancient Greece and focused on pleasing there gods through the Olympics for Zeus and the festivals to honor gods such as Dionysus during the city Dionysus festival. The Olympics, today as well as 3,000 years ago, offers a non-combative environment to do so.””””” The 6 artifacts in our ‘ room’ are as follows: 1. greek wrestlers (ca. 200s BC, now in Uffizi, Florence) 2. Victorious Athlete The Vaison Daidoumenos Hadrianic version of 5th century BC Greek original Winning at the ancient Games 3. The Diskobolos or Discus Thrower, 2nd century CE. Roman copy of a 450-440 BCE 4. Heraria Spartan Runner Girl Victress 5 and 6. Pankration and Greek winner

WEEK 7 ASSIGNMENT. CONTINUATION OF PROTON BEAM RADIATION THERAPY

It is in this section the marketing mix is approached in the areas of product/service, place, price and promotion. In many marketing plans this section can be very extensive. For purposes of this project, I would like you to limit each area to no more than two (2) paragraphs. Please list and describe the marketing mix in the following order: product/service, place, price and promotion. This is a recap or summary of what was included in Section B OR you may use this area to provide more detail about your product or service. This is where your target market can go to purchase your product/service (specific location (address), online (website address), telephone (phone number), direct mail (address), etc…) This is how much you are going to charge for your product/service. There may be a unit price, flat fee, hourly rate, insurance consideration, package pricing, etc…this will vary based on product/service. This is how you are going to communicate your product/service message to your target market. Please provide a minimum of three, but no more than five solid, realistic ideas you would implement to promote your product/service. As you identify which promotional vehicles you will use, put them under the appropriate promotional element (refer to page 435 of your textbook) and then briefly explain. If you have noted any promotional activities in your strategies or tactics, you would need to identify those in this section. Example:A press release would be developed and sent to all the local papers in the Chicago western suburbs. It would include information about .. For example, if you are going to place an ad in a newspaper, design the ad copy, or if you are going to do a mail campaign, develop the direct mail piece; or if you are going to do a press release, write the press release. If you decide to do a commercial or radio spot, please include the written copy (script) in your marketing plan. If you have the capabilities you can attach the commercial or radio spot for online viewing/hearing. If not, a written script would be fine. If you decide to create a website, I only need you to create the home page and what links would be on that page directing viewers to other parts of the website. I do not need you to create all the accompanying pages for that site. Please keep in mind, that whatever promotions you develop will need to be presented online as part of your visual online presentation. This means you may need to copy your promotion into your PowerPoint presentation or include a separate pdf file for viewing.Be sure to identify the location of your promotional ideas in your plan and explain what was created and for what purpose. THE PROMOTIONAL PIECE MUST BE COMPLETED AND HANDED IN AT THE TIME OF YOUR MARKTING PLAN POSTING DURING WEEK EIGHT. The instructor does NOT need to review the promotional piece; however, if it is complete at the same time sections E, F, G and H will be turned in then the instructor will gladly provide you with feedback.

BOOK 1 ONLY!!!!!!Aristotle Nichomachaen Ethics Book II1. What are the two kinds of virtue (excellence)? (1103a15)2. According to Aristotle, how does one acquire intellectual virtue? (1103a15-16)3. According to Aristotle, how does one acquire moral virtue? How does one’s state of character get shaped and formed? (1103a17)4. What does Aristotle mean when he states that virtue is something we “learn by doing”? (1103a33) How is becoming an excellent person similar to becoming an excellent musician? (1103b1)5. At the beginning of chapter 2, Aristotle states his purpose in writing about virtue. (1103b27) Is he hoping his readers (and students) acquire theoretical understanding, or is his hope to help form the activity of soul of his readers and students so they can live good lives?6. What two things destroy virtue? (1104a12) How is this shown in the example of excellent strength or health?7. At the beginning of chapter 3, what does Aristotle mean when he says that the pleasures or pains that follow an act are signs of an individual’s character? (1104b5) How does one’s character alter whether an action is pleasant or painful?8. In chapter 4, Aristotle considers a puzzle. It’s a puzzle about actions and the person doing the action. Explain the puzzle and Aristotle’s solution.9. In chapter 5, Aristotle makes a first pass on considering what virtue is. (He tries to determine its general category.) Is it a passion, a faculty, or a state of character? What does he mean by each of these? In particular, what is a “state of character”?10. In chapter 6, Aristotle refines the definition of virtue. (Having established that it is a state of character, what makes a virtue an excellent state of character? How is it related to human function?11. Still in chapter 6 (1106b26), Aristotle draws a distinction between the numerical mean and the mean relative to an individual person. Explain the distinction with regard to how much food is healthy.12. Near the end of chapter 6, Aristotle provides a careful (six part) definition of moral virtue. What is his definition? (1107a1)13. At the end of chapter 6, Aristotle points out that some actions (adultery, theft, murder) are bad in themselves (1107a11). How does virtue differ from simply avoiding such actions?14. In chapter 7, Aristotle refers to a table that lists nine moral virtues. What virtues and vices are includes on this list? Is it possible to reconstruct this table? How is each virtue a “mean” between two extremes?15. Several of the virtues that Aristotle lists have to do with proper desires and feelings. In particular, he mentions feelings of fear and confidence; desires related to taste and touch; the desire to give; and the feeling of anger. He suggests that through habit, we can change what we desire. Is this true? Can we educate our desires and feelings? Isn’t education just aimed at the intellect and theoretical understanding?16. Aristotle begins chapter 9 by summarizing his teaching on the virtues. What conclusion does he draw about the ease of acquiring excellent moral habits? (1109a26)  17. Aristotle gives several pieces of practical advice on how to achieve the mean. What should be avoided? (1109b5) What should we guard against? (1109b8)

ANTHROPOLOGY RESEARCH ESSAY

This is to be a 3 to 4 page paper (750 to 950 words). If you give me a short paper you will be marked off from anywhere from 20% to 90% of your overall grade. On the other hand, if you turn in too many pages (5+) you will also lose points. This will be a challenge for many of you. It may be difficult to write what you need to in so few pages, keep it pithy and to the point. While this is not a English class and I do expect proper collegiate writing. Two hints: do not start your paper with a “Since the dawn of time” sentence. It is not a good way to start any paper. Also, set up and let me know what you are going to be writing about in the first paragraph. I don’t want to read a mystery research paper.  This assignment’s purpose is to be able to research a topic further than just . The sources you use need to be academic. What I mean by academic is that they should be peer-reviewed academic journals (see below).  Further, your formating should be exactly what I am asking for. First and foremost, you will be heavily graded on whether or not your sources are academic in nature. For each non-academic source I will deduct up to 30% off your grade. Since you need three sources, you stand to fail this assignment rather quickly if you don’t have the correct sources. What are acceptable sources? All fields in science have peer reviewed publications, usually in the form of journals. This is how research and conclusions are presented. Peer reviewed means they have gone through a rigorous process and any conclusions presented have to include what methods were used as well as background and analysis. The supplemental reading I have provided in class has all been from such sources. Here are a few examples in the Anthropology world And  will give you possible links to all anthropology journals. You are more than welcome to bring in publications from other disciplines. Common misconceptions of acceptable sources: 1.  this does not make it an academic source. I suggest you look at who wrote whatever you a reading and see if they have published. 2. the Smithsonian, National Geographic are also not allowed. Again, look at who wrote the article or whose research they are referencing. In-text citation: This is a concept that eludes most people. If you are using an idea that is not common knowledge you need to provide a in-text citation (see style guide and assignment). When you are paraphrasing one of your sources, you need to cite. When you quote, you need to cite. When in doubt, cite. Not citing is called plagiarism. When in doubt, cite. Frequently asked questions about sources:Once I have my academic sources can I use other non-academic ones? – Yes, you may. But do not lean too much on them for the content of your paper or your grade will suffer. Can I use our book, or lecture? – Yes, but same as above, do not make them your primary sources. Citing and quoting: Your paper should be in your own words (remember to still cite). You are welcome to use quotes, but do NOT make your paper quote heavy. Your paper should not be a bunch of quotes tied together.

CASE STUDYC&L Restaurant #32 The C & L Restaurant chain has a proud history.  It was started in 2004 by two brothers, Cecil and Leicle with one restaurant and has grown to 75 locations in a tri-state area.  The restaurant is a fast-casual restaurant with an extensive menu of scratch, speed scratch and convenience items where guests come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  C&L restaurants pride themselves on a consistently high level of customer satisfaction and repeat customers.  Miguel Ortiz, the general manager of store #32 is concerned.  He has received increasing numbers of guest complaints in the past twelve months.  The restaurant has been in business in this location for ten years.  There has been very little change in the original menu offerings that have been the corner stone of their success.  The staff of the restaurant, both front and back-of-the-house, has been relatively stable during that time.  The customer base for the restaurant has not changed and they still seem to be drawing their regular crowd.  The customers are complaining about both the quality of the food and the service.  Miguel is concerned that if the level and severity of complaints continue the business will be impacted.Miguel has brought his concern to the attention of the kitchen manager and the dining room manager.  He has directed them to motivate the staff to reduce the number of complaints.  The response of both department heads has been to increase supervision of production and service.  Additionally each has meet privately with Miguel to explain that the poor performance in the other department head’s area is undermining their individual efforts to reduce the number of complaints.  The kitchen and service staff is comprised primarily of individuals with 5 or more years with the restaurant in the same positions.  They were well trained when originally hired and have been doing the same job for a number of years.  They are generally unconcerned about the guest complaints because when a guest complains they respond quickly to correct the problem. Case Study Questions. *Is the primary challenge facing Miguel as General Manager one of supervision, management, or leadership?*What are the primary causes for the challenges occurring at C&L Restaurant #32?*What role did supervision/management play in the decline at C&L Restaurant #32?*What role did leadership play in the decline at C&L Restaurant #32?*What types of supervision/management actions need to take place to stop the decline at C&L Restaurant #32?*What types of leadership actions need to take place to stop the decline at C&L Restaurant #32? Each question 3-4 lines.. law homework 10 pages minimum

You are the senior member of a two-man hostage negotiation team for a maximum security facility in the Northeast. You and partner are called to a cell block where an inmate, identified as Alfredo Albondigas, has taken two facilities maintenance personnel and a fellow corrections officer hostage. He is claiming that there are aliens from another planet living in his cell block and demanding that they leave immediately. He has given an ultimatum that if he does not see the flying saucer leaving the exercise yard area in 2 hours, he will kill the maintenance personnel that he has taken hostage because he knows that they are giving signals to the aliens about him and the other inmates.Mr. Albondigas is armed with a handmade knife and has his head wrapped in aluminum foil. The corrections entry reaction team (CERT) is working with you has a green light to kill Mr. Albondigas, but there are no current opportunities presenting themselves. You have managed to get a throw phone into Mr. Albondigas and you have direct phone communication with him. Also, because of the phone’s design, when he hangs up, you can still hear what is going on in the room. He has not hurt the maintenance personnel so far, but he is using the corrections officer as a translator to speak to the maintenance personnel, as if the maintenance personnel were not speaking English, but some alien tongue. This scenario may seem humorous because it is fictional, but if it were real, it would be very serious for both the hostages and Mr. Albondigas. You are tasked by the warden and incident commander to make an operations plan centered on dealing with this mentally ill offender.Address the following questions in a 10–12 page position paper. Present this paper as if it were an operations plan to negotiate with Mr. Albondigas and end the hostage standoff. You do not need to plan the tactical response if the negotiations fail. The paper presented should confine itself to gathering the information that negotiator needs, and the approach to take when negotiating with Mr. Albondigas to end the standoff. It is critical that, when you make a statement of fact in your presentation, you cite the reference that you used to obtain the information from. Do this in the text of the paper, and then include the reference in your References page. As always, your paper will be submitted in the current edition of APA format. No abstract is required because this is a short position paper, but a title page, reference page, and appropriate running header with page numbers are necessary.
