Who are psychotherapists?

Project description
The question is deliberately quite broad, enabling you to concentrate on particular theorists and concepts which you find the most interesting and helpful and giving you the chance to tailor the examples to aspects that interest you. The psychotherapists/psychoanalysts that we have looked at in some way and that you might use for this are:
Freud (this would probably be a popular option in terms of the amount of time we are spending on him). However, we have also looked at some ideas from Paul Ekman, Donald Winnicott , Yiannis Gabriel and Paul Gordon and these also would be possible options.
Some psychotherapists that we consider in the module connect the ideas and concepts more directly to organisational life, such as Manfred Kets de Vries , Anton Obhulzer and Larry Hirshchorn. You might select one of these because they make the connections between ideas from psychotherapy and emotions in organisations more explicit.

How to Prepare an Annotated Bibliography
An annotated bibliography is a list of sources such as books, articles, and web sites used for researching a topic. Each citation is followed by an annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. A bibliography is also known by other terms such as References or Works Cited.
Writing an Annotation
Begin with the citation (using APA style for this course). The annotation should be 200-350 words in length. Your annotation should answer the following questions in your own words:
Who wrote the article? Search for them using Google. Where are they? What do they do? What is their job title? What else can you say about them? (1-2 sentences)
What are the main arguments? What were the methods (for example, interviews, surveys, observation, brain scans)? What is the point of this article? If someone asked what this article is about, what would you say? (2-5 sentences)
Is this source biased or objective? What is the goal of this source? (1-2 sentences)
Is it a useful source? How does it compare with other sources youve read or heard about in the news? Is the information reliable? (1-2 sentences)

Sample Weekly Writing Assignment
Writing assignments are limited to a maximum of one page, single sided, and single spaced (not including citations see below).
This is a relatively short assignment so be sure to use the space allotted effectively!
12 point Times New Roman font or similar should be used throughout the entire document.
Ensure that sufficient margin spaces are maintained (e.g. 1.5 inches side, and 1 inch top/bottom). Note that all relevant course and student information can be placed in the header, which will effectively reduce your top margin; following the presets in your word processing application should be fine. The goal is to ensure a clear, legible, and professional looking document.
Use paragraphs to separate the main ideas in your report and avoid overly long paragraphs and run-on sentences. You are aiming to present your ideas in as clear and concise a manner as possible, so avoid the use of jargon, casual language, and unnecessarily complex or technical terms. Limited and judicious use of bulleted or numbered lists is appropriate at times and can be used to:
1.List the main ideas from a reading
2.Categorize theoretical content
3.Highlight the key points in your analysis
