Email communication is most widely used form of communication in our daily lives. It is used at work as well as for our personal purposes. It is also, most widely misused by the communicators. Anyone can easily send an email, however, it requires a skill to send appropriate, professional email. To serve the purpose of communication, sender must focus on audience and the purpose of sending the email. As mentioned in the text book, one must see if the email is to serve the purpose to inform, to persuade, to convey goodwill or to establish credibility.I have noticed most common email miscommunication occurs while replying messages to group slowly  deviates away from the main topic composed in subject line after few email exchanges. I recall an incidence when emailing about a patient ongoing issues to group of doctors and sought advice under treatment plan. I received first few replies related to the patient on what labs or test to be ordered.However, I noticed that some of the subsequent messages were about similar incident with another patient in another place where they used different treatment options and tests, its results and the cost was cheaper. Some of the doctors in the group email agreed that some of the tests we do here was not necessary and should not be ordered. In environment, it is common to get distracted with another patient work. I did not had the chance to read the whole trail of emails for that patient. So I pulled the last email message on that patient and placed orders accordingly. Fortunately, on the day of patient visit which was few weeks later, I reviewed the whole email again and I noticed that later part of email was not related to the patient, I had raised concern about. If I had not reviewed on time, I would have ended up ordering labs short and would have cost patient extra money and time.This miscommunication could have avoided, if the doctors discussing another scenario should have excluded me and communicated among themselves or should have created another email with new subject topic. 2.Per the text, effective criminal investigators take notes of not only detailed information about the crime but generalized information that may or may not be relevant to the crime they are investigating. Refer to figure 2.15 “Recreation of a homicide shooting” in chapter 2 of the textbook and determine the information (important and generalized) that you would take for your crime investigation report. Be sure to classify each piece of information as being either important or generalized. Provide a rationale for your chosen pieces of information and the classification to which you identified them. Field notes are often more reliable than a person’s memory, they can be used as a source of specific facts and details that otherwise might be forgotten. Detailed field field notes also reduce the need to recontact victims and witnesses regarding information that was overlooked or questions that were not asked in the initial contact. The information i would take for my report are: 1. When did the incident happen, 2. where did the incident happen, 3. who the suspect and possible are, who are the victims and possible associates, 4. what type of crime was committed, 5. how was the crime discovered, and 6. why was the crime committed. While these are all important other general information that i would also need to document would be position of furnitures, position of the body, types of weapon and in the this case bullet trajectories. I choose them in this order because before a crime scene investigator starts investigates a crime s/he have to first establish that a crime did in fact take place so thats why i think those information of who, what, when, where, and why is more important than general.Citizen on line crime reporting has become popular in recent years but it has generated some speculation on its validity. Interpret your thoughts on the validity of self-reporting by citizens, and explain the main reasons why some people question the validity of citizen on line crime reporting.I think that crime reporting is valid, a lot of citizens prefer this method because of various reasons, especially citizens that have been victims of aggravated assault, sexual assault, and rape, both male and female. This method is less embarrassing and may be more easier for them to explain their truth without the fear of discrimination of reporting officer and the public in general, and that doesn’t make it any less valid. I understand why some people may have some about this method, because when people are asked to tell strangers about their illegal acts, they may lie about their criminal involvement, and also in some instance other people may forget, misunderstand, or distort their participation in crime.

This is a short, argumentative paper that will require a close reading of the text, i.e., you must engage with Beyond Good & Evil or The Ethics of Ambiguity. Some of the paper should be exegetical, that is, should explain and summarize the text. Do this while arguing your position.

Note: This is a thesis defense paper. In each of these prompts you are being asked to choose a position and argue for it. Clearly state your position in the introduction. You will not be graded on your thesis but on how well you argue for it and whether or not it exists.

1. What does Nietzsche take to be the prejudice of philosophers? Explain how he works through his criticism with reference to at least two other figures, e.g., Kant, the Stoics, etc. According to Nietzsche, moralizing has blocked philosophers for a more profound, honest, courageous understanding of reality. Explain why this is. State whether or not you find him successful in his endeavor. Argue for your position.

2. What sort of character is Nietzsche’s “Free Spirit”? In what sense is this person exceptional? How ought the Free Spirit live his/her life? Does this apply to all people? Why or why not? Do you think Nietzsche is right to claim that such people exist? Why or why not. Explain your reactions reading Nietzsche. If you found him compelling, explain why, and if you found him disturbing, do likewise.

3. What is noble? Explain this with constant reference to Nietzsche’s distinction between master and slave morality. What defines these moral systems? What might Nietzsche, as a self-proclaimed Philosopher of the Future, have to say about both of these worldviews? Do you find either master or slave morality more compelling? Or neither? Explain why.

4. What is an “ethics of ambiguity”? de Beauvoir critiques existentialism for not yet providing an ethical frame for its thought. It is her goal to do just that in Ethics of Ambiguity. Explain how she defines her project in the first section of the text. Why is it that man is essentially ambiguous? What does this mean? Afterwards, establish how this particular ambiguity gives rise to an ethics. Do you think de Beauvoir is successful in her analysis and approach. Why or why not? Defend your position. (Note: If you disagree, I suggest you make use of another author we’ve read to support your claim, though that’s not required.)

5. de Beauvoir (pg. 32) suggests that there are certain instances in which suicide may be morally permissible. Given her existentialist position, explain why/how she is capable of defending such a position. Then, describe how this makes her different from any 2 of the following 3: The Stoics, Kant, and Aristotle. Which of these philosophers do you most agree with and why? Please defend your position with reference to that philosopher’s wider ethical systems.

6. In Part II of Ethics of Ambiguity, de Beauvoir reveals a number of different ways in which people attempt to escape from their freedom. Explain 2-3 different ways in which people do just this. Provide a personal account reflecting one of these flights from freedom and express how one might try to overcome this flight. How can one come to genuine freedom? Is de Beauvoir correct in her assessment of the situation? Has she missed anything?

7. Create your own prompt in which you pair Nietzsche with de Beauvoir. In what sense are they both existentialists? What does it mean to be an existentialist? Take whatever orientation on this question you wish.

Each student should write his/her own laboratory report.   (contained within each week): . Students will receive an e-mail from the KET Virtual Physics Labs with an invitation to enroll into the class.• Expression of the experimental results is an integral part of science. The lab report should have the following format:  (10 points) – course name (PHY 132), title of the experiment, your name (prominent), section number, TA’s name, date of experiment, an abstract. 1:Good work! A nice simple example that shows how easy it is to use the product rule for exponents. Can you see how working with extremely large or small numbers and using scientific notation would help us to easily apply the product rule? 2:When I said very large numbers I was referring to very large small numbers. Numbers that are way to small for us to count without a computer. I think we don’t use them with things like national debts because there is not a lot of people who are familiar with scientific notation and I think that I’d the reason it is mostly used in science. 3:Shorthand for math is a great way to think of scientific notation. It certainly makes it easier and faster to write and record very large numbers. It is also very helpful when working with sets of very large numbers. Any thoughts from the class on if this makes sense or not? it 242 4:you’re correct there are many devices that we connect to our wireless network, WLANs are meant to make our lives a lot easier. since a wlan can connect our lives to the web it is important to maintain it secure. our bank transactions, homework assignments, work task, and other online activities all can be performed using our wireless devices, if a hackers manages decrypt our data, they will have full access to our personal and professional life. just as wlan can make our lives easier they can make them difficult if the signals are not encrypted and protected. 5:Right. Birmingham, the group is petitioning for an ordinance to ban the sagging pant fashion that has persisted in recent years.Birmingham wants to gather 3,572 signatures to put his proposed ordinance on the ballot. If approved, anyone caught with saggy pants that reveal an undergarment would be fined between $50 and $100, if they had been previously warned to pull up their pants.Birmingham says the fashion is disrespectful to the public and should be considered ‘indecent exposure’ and a violation of the public decency law.Others agree that a line should be drawn.“I think it’s disrespectful if you to see the underwear,” said Frank White, 62, who supports the proposal. “There’s a lot of young guys who like to take their shirts off because it’s getting hot now and you see the underwear and they got them dropped on their hips. That’s the way they wear them. I understand that’s supposed to be the style but I don’t like the style,” he said.But opponents say the fashion really isn’t hurting anyone.“It ain’t no threat to nobody or nothing. All in all I feel like people should be able to dress like they want to dress but respect their community. If they say pull up your pants then pull up your pants,” said Little Bee Reality, who likes to ‘sag’ and opposes the proposal.Little Bee Reality calls the fashion ‘swag’.“As long as you are not disrespecting the community, being violent with guns or nothing. He wants to at least get young men to know they need to pull up their pants when others are around them. Some supporters concede they may be fighting a losing battle. But ban supporters are frustrated by a sight they believe is becoming too common, and they want to do something to stop it.
